- A far easier way to publish:
The cost if any at all will be far lower than a traditionally published book and also bear in mind that traditional publishers are far more less likely to publish your work because of their strict regime process. For this reason only a very small amount of authors secceed in ever having their work published!
Having your work published electronically has taken away almost all of the monetary outlay and risk associated with the conventional style of publishing in print. This has resulted in the amount of authors that publish in electronic format being at a much higher level than you would think possible?
-
Low costs equal High Profits
Because the outlay costs of publishing your work electronically are very much lower as an author you will gain more of the income from the sale of your eBook. Also if you decided to pay for the writing of your eBook an then market the eBook yourself the you will end up with all of the profits.
The facts are that your eBook will have an almost one hundred percent profit, also add to this that there are no shipping and inventory outlays. Once you write or get someone else to write your eBook, you can carry on selling it for years and years and gain money from it. If at a later date you decide to update the information in your eBook, the cost to do so will be very little to non existent. You do not need to have a technical knowledge to write your eBook. Remember that anyone can produce an eBook and market it.
-
Author-friendly third party publishes
Third party publishers are far more author friendly when called upon for their creating and publishing skills by an author. You will have more room for discussion of the contract between the parties involved. Along with the aspects how long the contract will last, the publishing, the rights of print, distribution and marketing, royalties, advertising are all discussed and negotiated for the best results for both parties involved.
When using a third party to create your eBook, you has the author will be encouraged an involved withe its creation so that the final product will meet your own expectations.
-
How long would it take to complete an eBook for publication
Producing a conventional format book could take up to two years or more to reach its targeted audience that browse the bookstore shelves. An eBook however can be written, published and appear for sale in a very short time, in as little as a few weeks and even quicker than that.
-
The use of multimedia can enhance your eBook
Your eBook can have so much more going for it by employing the use of the multimedia that is available today. You can include graphics, audio commentary, music, video clips, photos that can be expanded and animation. Able to magnify the size of text on the screen so that almost anyone can read it. And by no means least the ability to include navigational links that will elevate your eBook into a class of its own.
You as the author can implement some or all of these elements to enhance the readers experience and to make your work stand out more effectively.

Many different forms of packaging formats
Once you have produced your eBook or eBooks you can decide on several ways to deliver your package. You can issue them to your customers by putting them on a floppy disk (god! That made me feel a bit old) or on a CD-ROM. Your eBook a very easy to duplicate and can be distributed on either of these two formats. If you wanted to distribute them on a pen drive as an introduction to your company, you can now that this type of storage cost only pennies.
The majority of the time you will not require any form of packaging at all. Two other methods that can be employed that cost next to nothing. You can upload your eBook to a website or to space that is free. There are many websites that will give you free storage space for your files now days, but be careful of some of the free storage places as your files may not be secure. You are better off having them on your own paid for hosting service. Once you have your eBook is uploaded, they can then be made available for download to customer that has paid you for right to download it.
Another way is to deliver the eBook by e-mail. You can include your eBook as an attachment in the e-mail and then send it to the customers e-mail address when the payment for it has been received. Sending the eBook this way costs you nothing apart from time. You did not even have to write the eBook again because you already had it on your computer, so it cost you nothing to send it to another buyer.
- Getting your eBook out there to the buyer
With the advent of the Internet there is an enormous world of marketing and advertising opportunity. There are literally millions of potential customers out there. By using this available market place to advertise you have a staggering earning potential. Because the eBook is your baby, you have the exclusive rights and people can only purchase the eBook from you. You can also get other people to sell it for you by agreeing to let them distribute your eBook.
To succeed you need knowledge, reading gains you that knowledge!
