Internet Marketing Overload

I don’t know about you, but I have you noticed how membership sites seem to be all the rage this year?

So is that a good thing or a bad thing? Yes it is and No it is not. There is no definite answer.

I don’t know about you, but have honestly have wondered at times why so many of these sites claim to be membership sites. An awful lot of them just seem to be a product with a download area and a means of capturing our e-mails to continue to try and sell things. Many times with no support what so ever.

Don’t get me wrong. There are some membership sites that do provide ongoing useful information, however, the membership fees of these types of sites are usually beyond all realistic budgets that many of us have to stick to.

Another type of site that really annoys me are the ones where they offer a free membership, then low and behold, as soon as you have registered your free membership, you discover that there’s an upgrade available and if you want the real juice, you need to pay the monthly fee’s.

Well recently I found a site that doesn’t conform to the norm. The name of that site is Moremonthly.com and not only does it claims to be a site that helps you save more monthly and make more monthly. It honestly does deliver on its promise.

There is no free membership available to you, there is no joining a list that will pitch at you seven or eight times in order to try to get you to join the site. It’s one of those kind of sites that you’ll either like it or you will not situations.

There seems to be three aspects to the membership.

The first is saving.
Every month, members get to download a minimum of 10 products that would normally cost on average, somewhere between $200 and $400, depending on the rights purchased with those products.

So the savings for someone like me, who is addicted to buying anything that I might find useful at some point immediately or in the future. Especially video tutorials that show me how to do the tasks that I’m not familiar with, can seriously add up and put me over budget very easily!

Secondly, the making more aspect.
The vast majority of downloads that are added each month, come with rights. Either master resale rights or in many cases private label rights. The benefits to members from these are immeasurable in terms of the number of items offered. They can alter or leave the PLR products as is and then sell on these products by advertising them to buyers. They can sell on the MRR products. They can even build massive lists with any of the downloads by using some of them as giveaway items. Everybody likes giveaways right.

When weighed up with the small cost of membership – there really are a
lot of ways to make more monthly income and i know that we all like to make money. otherwise we would not be marketers, would we.

The Ace in the hole!
The number of useful products that are added monthly to the membership site, easily justify the small cost involved. Having said that, where I find the most useful part of this particular membership is the community.

Within the membership there is a community forum. A place where members genuinely help other members. Not only in terms of advice, but also in the setting up of business venture opportunities, advertising opportunities and member to member special offers and discounts.

Given the sheer volume of video tutorials, scripts, software, e-book’s and reports in the membership and then add to that the help and support from within the community forum, and also finish it off with the opportunities to build relationships with other marketer’s for everyone’s long-term benefit. Even a complete fool would love it.

Now price it at less than you would pay for one product per month, and I’m talking about a product of less than $20, not your $27, $47, $97, $127 and upward and higher product. Then I’m sure you can see why I am wondering if this is the last site we would ever need to join!

If it does not float your boat to have more products than you can shake a stick at for very little investment and continual support in the forum to go with it. Then you would be best not to bother with the membership. Having said that, i do not believe for one minute that you would have a reason not to at least give it a go.

I have known one the co owners of this site for some years and he knows from personal experience just how expensive and difficult it can be to want to be an Internet Marketer. As i was using this new way of Free Marketing for Digital Information. I discovered a major flaw for many of us who would have loved to use it.

The service is only available for American use. That is unless you have an American Bank Account of which if you are not in American i doubt that you will have one. So until DTP Amazon realises that not every person in the world of marketing lives in that fine country of the USA we cannot use it.

Since eBay pulled the plug on selling Digital product that are downloaded via the internet, it has left many sellers without a place to advertise and sell their digital downloads. The only way that eBay now allows the sale of those digital products is for you to create and ship a CD or DVD with that information on.

Well quite frankly and personally i just cannot be bothered with that sort of messing around and had quit selling digital information almost all together.

That is until just a couple of day’s ago. What changed my mind was an email that i received, professing to show me how i could start selling my digital information again for free with no charge for the listing and advertising. Only this time i could learn how to do it in less than 19 minutes (yeah, you read that right).

I thought there just has to be a major catch to this and i will probably have to pay a monthly fee some where along the way.

Well! Let me tell you here and now i was WRONG and felt somewhat embarrassed for thinking so. Especially because i had not even had an email from this source before and usually i am not that quick to pass judgement on something.

The email had the usual type of link that did not give much information on what it was. So i clicked it and went to a sales page, nothing spectacular like flashy animation etc. But i decided to read the page anyway as it was one of the shortest sales pages that i had come across recently.

What it was selling is some short and very to the point videos of how to sign up and use a new area of Amozon that is totally free and so easy to use that a child could do it. There is no fluff in the videos just straight to the point and honest information, which is what i prefer in a product.

Too many times have i sat and started watch some video that i purchased only to find that it could have been produced and the relevant information cut down to just a few minutes instead of an hours worth of crap.

The price for these very short videos was less than seven dollars, but it does go up 10 cents an hour. When you first decide to have a try at Internet Marketing, apart from some of the usual things like webspace, domain names, auto responders etc. The one most important aspect that you require is going to be products. I believe it is almost impossible to go forward in your venture without Quality products.

You can use affiliate products, free reports rehashed ebooks and the list goes on and on. But! do you really make an impact doing things this way. After trying for quite some time i was disappointed with this method because it just did not work for me personally. I am not saying that it does not work for other marketers but i struggled really hard with it to make even the slightest impact. Each product i purchased to resell was flooding the market before i even had a chance to make the money back in most cases. Boy was i getting upset!

That is when i started to look around and quit wasting over a thousand dollars a year and getting very little back. I did not really know what i was looking for but as long as it was not going to cost me thousands i was willing to shell out some cash. I started to do the usual thing by typing this, that and the other into Google searchers etc and nothing much came up until i typed in Membership site.

I could not believe just how many sites that linked to membership came up. I knew i had to refine my search criteria to be a bit more specific. What i found then just knocked me over! I came across a site called My Members Plus, clicked it to visit the site and what i saw did not honestly give me a thrill. There was no super flashy graphics, no super duper flash animations, just a page with a banner (fairly nice but nothing to go wow over), with the site name displayed in a crazy sort of way.

Then i read what was on the page which intrigued me a little more. I then remembered some of the sites i had visited in my time on line that did not look much but the content inside was excellent, so i clicked on the links to take a look at some of the stuff that i could get as a member. The preview of some of the products (i think it was about 70 or so), was very nicely presented, none of those hard to see little images that we so often see. Even the descriptions were very meaningful.

I went back to the front page and it professed that for a yearly fee, you could get top quality products monthly and many of them unreleased before with Private Label Rights and Master Resale Rights.

I thought what the heck even those 70 products were only going to cost me less than a dollar each and if the other products were as good as most of them i would be on a winner. I was not not really expecting a whole lot for my money in the future months, but if you don’t try, you don’t know for sure.

I paid my dues and gained access to the members area and to my amazement i liked what i saw even more. This was not one of those oh so many sites that i see more or less on a daily basis. This one had just what i was looking for, content rich packages and products like ebooks, learning courses, scripts, software programs and all manner of different stuff. covering all areas of the spectrum of the stuff that an online marketer might need. Best of all it was not that all so often rehashed crap.

I joined the site in November 2007 and that means that it is over six months since i joined and i feel confident in its delivery of products to recommend it and here is what my feelings are:

I immediately saw that the site had started up in August earlier that same year. My first reaction was to wonder just what goodies i had missed by finding the site months after its launch. Then as i read the members area i realized that i had missed out on not one months products, as i was given access to all proceeding months of stuff from when the site opened as all members are given this advantage.

Also i noticed that even though the site said i would get 5 products a month, i was very pleased to see that i was in fact getting far more products than that 5. Here’s a list of the amounts of products i have received each month so far. I am doing this so that you can indeed see i am in no way covering things up. Here goes…

1. August 2007 The Grand Opening 39 products.
2. August 2007 198 products Yes even more for that month as a special.
3. September 2007 5 products.
4. October 2007 5 products.
5. November 2007 5 products Oh well at least i’m going to be getting 5 really good products per month now to resell.
6. December 2007 18 products Much better.
7. January 2008 15 products Keep on going baby.
8. February 2008 20 products.
9. March – April 2008 16 products Site owner was moving home and setting up new office.
10. May 17 products.

June 2008 will be added later this month to the members area

That is a staggering 338 products. Now that must be some sort of a record is such a short time. Also taking into account that the value is well over $5000 dollars you do not have to ask if i am happy with my choice of purchase. I spent well over that in my first 2 years as a marketer. No wonder my wife asked me to cut down on my expenditure…

So how much does it actually cost for membership. At the moment it costs just $67 dollars flat for a whole year and all back monthly products included. Once you get in at this really low price of only $67 you will be locked in at that price for as long as you remain a member. So when it actually goes up to $127 dollars of which i am sure that it will in the not too distant future ( a little bird told me this the other day). Each month i receive an email when the new monthly product are put in the members area from the site owner and that makes excellent sense to me as it allows me to download the ones that i want to sell before the market gets flooded. I normally will only put 2 or 3 up for sale each month and the rest i will use as bonuses or freebies inside my newsletters to bring in even more potential customers.

Obviously you can sell as many products as you wish from each month, but if you really want to grow your business, then use some for freebies and bonuses. You won’t regret that action and you will gain a really good reputation of over delivering to your customers and that does make a huge difference for them to buy from you.
