Hi, Bill

I am sorry that you find my post on reseller hosting offensive and also that you think it is more of an advertising stunt for Dan Thompson's D9 hosting service.

What i stated in my post is exactly how i was treated when trying to access my hosting account that i purchased through a reseller using hostgator. I feel that if you have not experienced this thing happening to yourself, then you do not realize just how abused you would feel finding out that the only way you will be allowed access to your data is by having to pay for hosting again and not only that, but to find you then have to pay an extra fee to have the data moved by the company when you were explicitly told that there would be no extra fees added.

It does not necessarily mean that hostgator are a bad company for other to deal with and like most things in life that happen to one person, it does not mean that it is going to happen to others. This is truly what happened to me at the time of this occurrence. I do consider that at the time i purchased reseller hosting that i was dumb and also take responsibility for being dumb at that time. I was like the many new comers to the world of internet business ventures, that often believe that saving a few pounds is a good thing.

Once again i will apologize for offending you and i will add a line of bold text to state that this happening to me with hostgator, does not necessarily mean it will happen to others. Apart from that one line, i stand by what i wrote in my post at that time.

I found your blog very very misleading and more of an add for D9 HOSTING and insulting to HOSTGATOR. I am familiar with both Hostgator and D9 Hosting and being a Reseller myself. As you stated in your blog you were rather dump by purchasing a reseller account as you did, but I don't believe Hostgater treated you as bad as you claimed. I have used both Hostgator & D9 Hosting and found both to be very fine and honest companies. Your blog seemed to say that Hostgator is a bad company, which it is not. I think you should delete your OLD BLOG and rewrite it to tell people how/or why not to become a reseller and not insult Hostgator.
